Noun Full Form Authorization to perform operations associated with a specific shared resource, such as a file, directory, or printer. Permissions must be granted by the system administrator to individual user accounts or administrative groups.

[MSTP 4.6] Setting the Traverse Folder permission on a folder does not automatically set the Execute File permission on all files within that folder.
