Noun Full Form Any combination of keys that must be pressed sequentially.

[MSTP4.6] Do not use key sequence in content for home users and information workers. Use keyboard shortcut instead. Key sequence is best avoided entirely, but it is permissible in content for software developers when you must distinguish between a key combination and a key sequence. In such cases, use key sequence to denote keys that must be pressed sequentially, and provide a definition.
